Athlete Development Training at St. John's Northwestern Academy

NEW THIS SUMMER!

Wanting to supplement your athlete's on ice, on field and on court experience this summer?  Impact Hockey Academy is proud to announce our new Athlete Development Training Program, located at St. John's Northwestern Academy.

Our new program has been developed by IHA Lead Instructor David Nappier over the past six months while he has been working on obtaining his Health Sciences and Wellness degree from UW-Stevens Point!  David is also pursuing a minor in Strength and Conditioning and is on schedule to graduation in spring of 2026.  David holds his ISSA Strength and Conditioning Specialist certificate and is progressing this summer on his Nutrition for Health certification from UW-SP.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Getting stronger and faster doesn’t just happen during the season—it starts in the off-season. Our athlete development program brings together everything you need to perform your best: smart strength training, nutritional guidance, healthy habits, injury prevention, and recovery. It’s all about helping you become a more powerful, explosive, and athletic version of yourself!

Our program is tailored towards the youth and high school athletes and not sport specific.  We have five session times so athletes are training with kids of their own age and are not intimidated or held back by athletes of different ages and performance levels!

Whether your sport is hockey, lacrosse, basketball, football, baseball, or a track and field specialty, Coach David will look at baseline abilities and tailor your workouts to address specific imbalances he uncovers.   David's overall goal for Block 1 is to minimize injury potential, correct any muscular imbalances and increase mobility and core strength.  Block 1 lays the foundation for performance!

In Block 2, David will focus on continuing themes from Block 1 while also helping develop maximum strength relative to your specific sport or goals via added intensity and progression.
